Ghosts on the Coast
At The Point Arena Lighthouse...
July 19-21 2019

Are you ready to meet the ghosts of the Point Arena Lighthouse? A never before investigated location dating back into the earliest days of California, this lighthouse holds the secrets of time. Pirates, Settlers, Russian Soldiers, dark and foggy nights, rocks hidden and jutting from the coast line. It is said that when pirates raided and lost their lives, they were buried in unmarked graves along the coves. Their treasures were stolen, and blood was spilled. There are ghosts that linger from the shipwrecks at sea, their bodies never found... An unusually hard life for the people who settled in the region filled the graveyards with children, illness and hard life took its toll on many families, sometimes destroying entire generations at time.

Join us for an interactive ghost hunt at the Lighthouse, which has appeared in many movies, but has never been investigated by paranormal investigators. We will spend an evening investigating the museum, the grounds, and the lighthouse, located at the end of a long point of land, completely isolated from any other buildings or people.

Other activities for this weekend include an optional Friday night meet & greet at The Gualala Hotel for Ghostie Game night, where we will compete for prizes, costume themed pirate night, with prizes for best costume, and worst attempt - arrgh the scurvy dog will provide you with a costume if you do not appear properly attired in Pirate Couture! Hilarity will ensue, as we will be celebrating with a no host bar! Age 21 and up only on Friday Night only. Are you ready for Pirate Paraoke?

Saturday we will be offering an optional historically based Scavenger Hunt through the region, with prizes to be given before the evening investigation!
Visit the local merchants participating to learn the clues, and win the Grand Prize!

Saturday Evening, we will gather at the rocks to call the spirits of the sea, the spirits of the Lighthouse, we will then conduct our investigation of the location.

If you wish to stay at the lighthouse itself, you can! You can book your room directly at The Light House Cottages but book soon, and let them know you are there for Ghosts on The Coast. 2 night minimum required! Hotel and or cottages are not included in our ticket price. Tickets are $85.00 per person, and include both Friday and Saturday's events. Event ticket is listed for purchase on July 20, 2019 but includes both days.

Friday, July 19, 2019 Meet us at the Gualala Hotel at 8 pm to 11 pm for a swashbuckling night fun. Movie, games & meet & great. Pirate themed costume is mandatory, or else! Devin has created a bevy of costumes if you come unadorned, methinks it will be of the scurvy dog ilk!

Saturday July 20, 2019 Meet us at the Lighthouse at 11 am for participation in the Scavenger Hunt of The Notable Dead. Find the Dead and the Living in several locations, snap a picture, write it down, and if you are brave enough, go Facebook or Instagram Live and Tag / Post to www.facebook.com/napaghosts or NapaGhosts (instagram) for an additional 10 points per location! Only reveal the area you are located, without disclosing the location, so you do not tip off others. Example: Crouch next to a gravestone, show only the name of the business, etc…

Saturday Evening: Assemble At the LightHouse for a calling of the spirits, at 6:30 pm. Pirates and Russians, local townsfolk, and wayward spirits will be welcomed in our journey across the veil to make contact with these restless (or feeling chatty) spirits. Seance with Ellen, Miss Marie, and Devin will hold open the door. We will then close the door and wander as we feel, for libations, for other investigations, or lay our heads down in sleep.
Please note that no drinking alcohol or use other substance will tolerated during the investigation. We strictly prohibit this to ensure your safety on property, and also because you do not need a ghostly hitchhiker on your trip home. It’s not like Disneyland at all!
Sunday July 21, 2019 You are free to breakfast, we will mostly likely gather at Trinks, the most fabulous bakery in Gualala. The molasses cookies will bring the dead back to life. We shall appear around 11 am.

If there are any questions regarding the event, please email napaghosts@gmail.com or text to 707-363-6890 or 925-303-6559 Cell phone & internet can be spotty, so please bear with us.
See you all soon!
